Our History

California’s North Bay is a thriving and collaborative community within the ecosystem of food, natural products, and values-driven businesses. The unique agriculture, climate and industry-leading innovation continues to drive our entrepreneurial spirit and responsibility towards our natural resources and a love of good food.

Founded in 2013, the North Bay Food Industry Group became a Naturally Network Affiliate in 2021. Comprised of specialty food, beverage and natural and organic product companies and individuals in Sonoma and Marin counties, Naturally North Bay is a 501(c)(6) organization that actively nurtures a culture of shared ideas, collaboration, and mentorship within the local community believing that collaboration and camaraderie is the key to taking on challenges.

As a Naturally Network chapter, we have a national voice and engagement with other thought leaders and mission-driven communities within our industry on important issues such as DE&I and climate change. Collaboration on a broader scale along with the sharing of best practice and insights builds a larger community of mutual support and success. Through shared experiences, we drive our industry forward while lifting each other via common interests and actions. Together we can make a difference.

By addressing the issues of today while anticipating the challenges of tomorrow, we continue to build and maintain a flourishing consumer product industry in the North Bay. Our on-going programs and resources encourage learning, promote sharing, foster connection opportunities that build trust, support reaching out and asking questions, endorse finding and becoming mentors – ultimately allowing us to grow stronger together.
